Una serie de reflexiones sobre la reforma tributaria de 2014, al inicio del segundo gobierno de Michelle Bachelet, realizaron exautoridades y expertos que participaron en su diseño acerca del diagnóstico económico que prevaleció entonces. Economistas apuntan a error de diagnóstico económico. El exministro de Hacienda Mario Marcel realizó una crítica más severa a la iniciativa de la exmandataria.
