Respecto a los lineamientos en materia económica, Escobar agregó que el “sistema tributario lo hemos tratado de reformar todos los gobiernos en los últimos tres periodos, y el resultado es que no ha sido posible llegar a un acuerdo razonable, y tampoco ha aumentado la recaudación tributaria. Entonces, no va a haber reforma tributaria si nosotros llegamos al gobierno”.
