En una tensa sesión de la Comisión de Hacienda, los diputados opositores reclamaron contra el apuro que le estaba imprimiendo el oficialismo a esta iniciativa. Incluso, el diputado Jorge Brito (FA) advirtió sobre otra posible inconstitucionalidad. En paralelo, las directivas se reunieron en el PS para seguir abordando el tema.
